Yes. I would be very happy if you use them!
BarkTunes's original tracks published on this site and other music platforms are provided free of charge under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license (except for some collaborative or remix tracks involving third-party copyrights).
Please feel free to use them for BGM of your videos, games, vocal covers, or any other creative projects.
For more details on licensing, please refer to the "3 Basic Rules for Using My Music (Summary)" section below.
The rules for using BarkTunes's tracks are simple, and consist of the following 3 points:
① Commercial Use & Monetization OK (Free of Charge)
Monetization on YouTube and other platforms, use in paid games, TV/Radio commercials, and sales of remix or vocal cover works are all permitted for both commercial and non-commercial purposes. (Payment or distribution of royalties to me is not required.)
② Prior / Post Approval Not Required
Prior or post contact is not mandatory. Of course, I would be very happy and share your work if you let me know, but using my songs without contact is also completely fine.
③ [Important] Credit Notation (Creator name & Song title) is Mandatory
Please make sure to credit my artist name "BarkTunes" and the song title in a clearly visible location, such as within the content itself or in the video description. (No credit is required for live DJ performances at clubs.)
Credit notation can be written as follows. Although it is not mandatory to include the link URL (https://barktunes.jp/?lang=en), it would be very encouraging for my activities!
▼ Template for Standard / BGM Use
▼ Template for Vocal Covers / Collaborations
The above are just examples. Any format is fine as long as the creator name "BarkTunes" and the "song title" are clearly recognizable.
Past cases of use and collaboration (that have been reported to me) are summarized in the "Track Record (proudly displayed)" section of my profile.
For vocal songs, instrumental (karaoke) WAV audio files, lyrics text, and MV videos (MP4) are distributed free of charge. You can download the corresponding songs from the links on the "Song List" page or directly from the "Instrumental (Karaoke) List" page.
To the page topAlthough I do not abandon the copyright of BarkTunes's original songs published on this site and other music distribution sites, you can use them without prior approval, commercially, and free of charge (no royalty distribution is needed) as long as you display the credit.
Also, feel free to modify the songs, such as "using only a part of the song" or "changing the playback speed, pitch, or sound quality". There are no restrictions on where they can be published (video sites, SNS, game distribution, doujin sales events, etc.).
Using the songs for contents or purposes related to the following matters is strictly prohibited.
In the event that any of the above applies, I reserve the right to request a suspension of the use of the songs.
